Well manicured and rather challenging

The golf course looks well manicured and rather challenging and the club house is stepped in history. Professional staff and management makes for a great drink on the 19th hole.

Great experience

Proshop made us very welcome which was the start of a great experience. Quite wide fairways and small greens with most like a "frisbee" - round with a dome that were great to play to and on. You need to follow some local as the next tee is not always easy to work out. on one Par 3 you have to wait for the group in front to hit back at you which was unusual. Played after the comp and it was a very respectable 4 hours walking. Great history and great place to play. Have no idea why the groundstaff only mowed half the very lush fairways.

Lovely course amongst colourful trees

"Lovely course amongst colourful trees" The place is so tranquil with natural, well established settings. Other players were friendly and only issue was my golf.... Grounds were little damp and the greens were quite challenging with concave shape and fast speed. Nevertheless the staff were super friendly and cheerful.

Fairways are good and greens are excellent.

Nice course, front nine probably more challenging than the back. Fairways are good and greens are excellent. Pro shop staff are friendly and helpful and have a good stock of gear. Layout is interesting with a good balance of straight holes and dog legs and some holes that need strategy from the tee. Nice clubhouse overlooking the 18th green.
