Established in 1901, Bowral Golf Club has been part of the Southern Highlands sporting landscape for more than a century, relocating to its current home in 1917. Set across a spacious and beautifully maintained property, the Club offers a relaxed golfing and social environment just minutes from Bowral town centre.

Bowral Golf Club is member-owned and governed by an elected Board, with a strong focus on stewardship, community, and the ongoing enjoyment of the Club for current and future members.

Bowral Pro Shop

The Bowral Golf Club Pro Shop is led by a team of four fully qualified PGA Professionals, providing friendly, knowledgeable support to members and visitors seven days a week. Whether you’re preparing for a round or seeking expert advice, the focus is on making your experience relaxed and enjoyable.

The shop features a boutique selection of Bowral Golf Club–branded merchandise, alongside essential golfing items to support your game. For added comfort on the course, the Club also offers 18 brand new lithium golf carts fitted with GPS for player support, along with club hire and pull buggies.

Dad’s Army

Bowral Golf Club is proud of the long-standing contribution made by Dads Army, a dedicated group of members who play an important role in maintaining and enhancing the course and surrounds.

Working alongside the Club, Dads Army assists with a wide range of projects that support course presentation, playability, and ongoing improvements. Their work is visible across the property, from signage and hazard definition to vegetation management and course enhancement initiatives. The group meets every Thursday, contributing a few hours on the course before coming together for a well-earned coffee and a chat, reinforcing the strong sense of camaraderie and Club spirit.

I'm a 52 year resident of the highlands who played golf as a junior on all the local courses including Bowral (prior to fairway watering). I currently own a turf management business involved in golf course renovation maintenance and construction and have been involved in Bowral golf clubs greens renovation programme. After a period not playing golf i have a renewed passion and look forward to contributing ti the ongoing success of the club.

A senior marketing professional with over 40 Years of International experience in Sports marketing, administration and fund raising/sponsorships. Working with International, National and local clubs and associations has given me a realistic perspective on presenting Bowral Golf Club to the community. Returning recently to the Southern Highlands meant joining and playing golf at Bowral Golf Club. The tradition, friendship and playing experience at Bowral Golf Club makes it the leading golf club in the Southern Highlands. My son and grandson love visiting and playing at Bowral and have now joined the club. Living close to the course means more practice, lunches with my wife at The Hastings and never being late for my tee time !
