Wednesday 8th May - Goulburn Invitation Day
Pam Barker, Chris Hill, Sue de Cseuz, Helen Crisp and Susan Ayres all played at Goulburn. I am told it was wet and soggy underfoot but the day was enjoyable. The morning tea probably helped to keep them going.
Just a little reminder, lets do what we can to keep things moving on the course. Leaving buggies and carts in the wrong places can be really annoying to the group behind and slow the game down.
Where to park your Golf Buggies when Teeing off the 18th. Please do not leave them on the lower area behind the 17th Green.
Where not to park your golf buggies or carts when putting on the 13th. Take them across the bridge with you or put them over near the 14th Tee box.
And one just for fun! How’s this; 3 of us lined our balls up perfectly on the 12th Green. However Sophie was there for 1 and Diana and I were there for 2! (Sophie’s was closet to the pin)
Updates /Comments
On Tuesday the 14th May we had scheduled a Shot Gun Start Ambrose game with lunch, presentation of club medals and a speaker. As you know the course was closed due to the rain but we did go ahead with the rest of our plans. A big thankyou to Ellen Neale for arranging for Sang to come and speak with us.
The Mixed Foursomes Championship - and the Wotton Trophy - are scheduled to be played on two consecutive Sundays in June - the 16th and the 23rd. Why not find a partner and put your names down.
