This month we held our first Multi day Club Medal event - the results of both Thursday and Saturday competitions are combined to give us the following winners by division.
Div 1 - Chris Hill, Div 2 - Sue de Cseuz & Div 3 - Sharon Rowe
The Golf NSW Medal is now two separate competitions; one is played on the Thursday and the second on the Saturday. Women members can play in both competitions but they must pay the $5 entry fee for both competitions or choose to play in only one of the competitions. There is no swapping between weekday and weekend competitions. We currently have two members who has chosen only to play in the weekend Medal competition and 3 women who have chosen to play in both. Please let me know if you would like to play in the weekend competition.
The Golf NSW Medal winners:
Thursday Competition winners are the same as the daily winners.
Div 1 - Chris Hill, Div 2 - Sue de Cseuz & Div 3 - Sharon Rowe
Saturday Competition winner (only one division due to the small number of entrants) is Michelle Alcock.
Helen Egan and Michelle Alcock played in our first Saturday Golf NSW Medal Round. Not even the cold weather could deter these girls!
Congratulations to all the winners, to everyone who got a BIRDIE and a special mention to Michelle Alcock for getting an EAGLE on the 1st June!!
COWRA TRIP - There were 11 of us that went to Cowra to play in the 3 day Annual Tournament. The weather was rather cold but to be fair we live in the Southern Highlands we should be able to cope with the cold!
We had some wins and a lot of laughs. I know everyone who went this year will be putting their name down again next year.
Our tour group leader, Ellen Neale also runs a side competition for the Bowral women and the prize for the overall winner of the first two days is the very stylish “COWRA HAT”. I can assure you that Jan Ferguson wore it with pride! We did ourselves proud in the main competitions taking away a number of the prizes. In conclusion it was a fabulous trip and I recommend those of you who stayed home join us next year!
THANK YOU ELLEN FOR ARRANGING ALL THE ACCOMMODATION AND RESTAURANT BOOKINGS!
Jan showing off the beautiful Cowra Winners Hat!
The Winners showing off their prizes! Well done to all of you!
Until next time, I’ll see you on the course of course!!
