Pamela Tallents Trophy - 25th July 2024
How lucky we were to get a good day for our annual Pamela Tallents Trophy event and we are so glad that Pamela Tallents was able to join us for the presentation and lunch after the game. Anyone who gets to talk to Pamela will know what an amazing lady she is. Her wit and enjoyment of life are inspirational.
The day was a great success and we have our wonderful bar and kitchen staff to thank for their support and for going the extra mile to make this day special.
Wingecarribee Team 2024
Well the battle between the Wingecarribee and Gibbergunyah teams tied for the 2nd consecutive year! This means that the Wingecarribee Team holds onto the Trophy for yet another year. We may need to consider a playoff to decide the winner in future years. Young Matt has put forward some very good ideas.
This year all the members of the winning team took home their own personal trophy. It has no doubt taken Pride of Place in each and every home!

Wattle Day - 1st August 2024
Once again we were lucky with the weather and although a little cold the skies stayed clear.
This year we welcomed visitors from Moss Vale, Mount Broughton, Fairbairn, Warringah and Goulburn Golf Clubs. As a new add on we also had a division for non GA Handicap players (beginners). In total 34 players.
The day was very successful with the club receiving very favourable reviews from all. A big thank you once again to our wonderful team in the kitchen and in the bar. The wonderful display of Wattle, the great food and of course the wonderfully professional, yet personal service provided are what sets our club apart and above others.
Chris Hill winner of Division 1 and also a few other prizes. Well done Chris!
Anne Keys was the Division 2 winner and a NTP prize. Congratulations Anne!
These were our 2 Division 4 players. Both are very new to golf We were able to give both players a free 30 minute lesson, a 3 pack of balls and a BGC Ball marker. Lets hope it encourages them to give golf a go!
This year we gave out a total of 17 prizes. A big thank you to our President Kevin Burke and the Board of Directors for their support of this day. All the winners were very happy to take home the Gift Cards.
Jan Ferguson also enjoyed a win!
Jane Whittaker was happy with her win.
The next couple of months are very busy with a number of major events in our calendar as well as many opportunities to play at other clubs in their various open events.
Please keep an eye on the notice board in the locker room for details of events at the other clubs.
As we approach spring we can look forward to milder weather and hopefully plenty of GOLF.
